¯r¶¹Íø welcomed the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU) team for a two-day accreditation visit, headed by Mr. Jose Ramelle Javier. The team was formally received by Rev. Fr. John Stephen Besa, O.P., LPT, MA, Rector and President, along with key administrators.
In his welcome remarks, Fr. Besa warmly stated, “Tuloy po kayo at tulay po kayo,” emphasizing the institution’s openness to collaboration and the vital role of the PAASCU team as a bridge toward academic excellence and continuous improvement.
The visit reaffirms ¯r¶¹Íø’s unwavering dedication to its mission of providing Academic Advantage at Angelicum while fostering a Safe, Smart, and Sustainable learning environment for its community.

The week-long celebration of Senior High School Week 2025 concluded on a high note with a series of exciting activities. The morning featured the championship games for volleyball, dodgeball, and basketball, while the energy-filled Street Dance Competition captivated the crowd in the afternoon, leading up to the much-awaited awarding ceremony. Team Ravenclaw emerged as the overall champion after a spirited display of teamwork and skill across various events. Spearheaded by the Supreme Senior Student Government (SSSG) and guided by advisers Mr. Jordan Matuguinas and Mr. Ahdrian Senden, the event was a resounding success, bringing another memorable SHS Week to a close.

Mico Chua (Gryffindor) and Mianne Fajardo (Hufflepuff) won the title of Mr. & Ms. Senior High School (SHS) 2025 in a pageant held today, March 17, 2025, at the St. Vincent Ferrer Gymnasium. Organized by the Supreme Senior Student Government with support from SHS Learning Facilitators, the event featured five pairs of contestants. Dr. Eunice Mareth Areola, Director for Academic Affairs, gave the Welcome Remarks, while Rector Rev. Fr. John Stephen Besa, OP, LPT, MA led the ceremonial torch lighting and jump ball.
Runners-up were Adrenson So (Hufflepuff) and Rylee Francesca Dela Paz (Gryffindor), followed by Miguel Vargas (Order of Phoenix) and Phoemela Guevarra (Slytherin), Reichen Favis (Slytherin) and Felicity Mendoza (Ravenclaw), and Jeremiah Macawili (Ravenclaw) and Cyrill Mendez (Order of Phoenix). Special awards went to Chua and Dela Paz for Students’ Choice, Best in Sportswear, Best in Team Costume, and Mr. & Ms. Photogenic, while Vargas and Fajardo won Mr. & Ms. Talent. Winners received sashes, crowns, bouquets, and prizes from sponsors.

Four learners from ¯r¶¹Íø brought pride to the country as they won top awards at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Mathematical Olympiad Final Round 2025 held today March 16, 2025, at the Hong Kong Science Park. Akiro Miguel Encarnacion (YS 10) secured the 1st Prize Award (Gold) and the Outstanding Award in the Big Bei Bay Secondary 3 Category, making him one of the top 1% winners globally. Chase Austin Caluscusao (YS 3), Dennise Jean Manuben (YS 3), and Sebastian Eric Adriano (YS 11) each earned the 3rd Prize Award (Bronze) in their respective categories, marking them as the third-highest scorers worldwide. Their achievements highlight the excellence of ¯r¶¹Íø Angelicum learners in international mathematics competitions under the guidance of their coaches, Ms. Roxanne Reysag and Sir John Lesther Lingamen.

Preschool Learners had a fun-filled day at ¯r¶¹Íø’s annual preschool sports festival, Familympics 2025. With the theme “Empowering Families as Champions of Faith through Sports,” the event was organized in partnership with Jolly Time Family Fun Time: Pop Along with Jolly Time School Caravan! The festival brought together students and their families to celebrate teamwork, fitness, and sportsmanship through engaging games and activities. Beyond academics, ¯r¶¹Íø emphasizes the value of extracurricular activities like sports in teaching students essential life skills such as discipline, focus, dedication, hard work, commitment, and teamwork.
