WELCOME MESSAGE FROM THE RECTOR AND PRESIDENT
To our Thomasian-Angelicans, parents, alumni, friends, and stakeholders,
Welcome to ¯r¶¹Íø! As we journey together in this revered educational institution, we remain steadfast in our commitment in realizing the transformative power of education—one that is not solely about the inculcation of knowledge, but one that is also centered on shaping character, strengthening resolve, and inspiring innovation. ¯r¶¹Íø, the pioneer of the non-graded system in the Philippines, remains committed to its vision of forming individuals who are academically competent, socially responsive, environmentally conscientious, and morally upright. This commitment is deeply embedded in our progressive approach to learning, ensuring that each student is nurtured in an environment that values Truth (Veritas), Justice (Justitia), Charity (Caritas), and Fortitude (Fortitudo).
The journey ahead is shaped by our strategic vision, the Triple A and Triple S framework: Academic Advantage at Angelicum alongside a Safe, Smart, and Sustainable learning environment. As we move towards our 2031 vision, we embrace Reinforced Education, a strategy guided by three pillars: Increase, Intensify, and Innovate. We aim to increase our reach, impact, and achievements; intensify our commitment to academic and moral excellence; and innovate in ways that challenge the norms and redefine educational paradigms.
Innovation has always been at the heart of ¯r¶¹Íø. From pioneering the non-graded system to seamlessly adapting during global disruptions, we have demonstrated resilience and foresight. Yet, as education evolves, so must we. The challenge now is to maintain our uniqueness, to push the boundaries of creativity, and to produce graduates who are not only knowledgeable but also problem-solvers, critical thinkers, and ethical leaders. Our students are called to be S.E.A.L. learners—Stewards of God’s creation, Engaged global citizens, Active lifelong learners, and Lovers of truth. These attributes define what it means to be a Thomasian Angelican in today’s world.
More than ever, we recognize that education does not happen within the four walls of the classroom alone. It extends to community engagement, global immersion, and social transformation. We are proud of our partnerships, local and international, which provide our students with experiences that broaden perspectives and cultivate global competencies. Likewise, we continue to uphold the Dominican tradition of forming not just minds but also hearts, ensuring that our graduates carry with them the values that will guide them in making a difference in society.
As we move forward through this path of learning and discovery, I invite every learner, educator, staff member, and stakeholder to take an active role in shaping the future of ¯r¶¹Íø.
