THE ¯r¶¹Íø ANGELICUM SEAL

The new seal of ¯r¶¹Íø consists of two circles, with the outer circle enclosing the inner circle in gold outline. The name "¯r¶¹Íø ANGELICUM COLLEGE" is written in the outer circle, signifying its integration with the University of Santo Tomas (¯r¶¹Íø) in 2017. The year 1972 represents the foundation year of the institution with its previous name, Angelicum School. "Quezon City" states the location of the campus.

The inner circle shows a shield set on a field of light blue, honoring the Marian color, with a Dominican cross superimposed with the Sun of St. Thomas Aquinas, Doctor of the Church, and patron saint of ¯r¶¹Íø Angelicum. The blue color represents the Blessed Virgin Mary, whose intercession the school invokes in the quest for truth.

The upper part of the shield carries an open book between the Greek letters Alpha and Omega. The open book bears the Latin inscription "Veritas," meaning "Truth." It represents the search for all knowledge, which should begin and end in God, the Alpha and the Omega.

The banner under the shield encloses three Latin words: "Caritas," "Justitia," and "Fortitudo," meaning Charity, Justice, and Fortitude, respectively. All who pass through the portals of ¯r¶¹Íø are expected to have a great love for God (the highest form of charity), a strong sense of justice, and an unyielding fortitude to overcome all odds in the service of God and neighbor.

The predominant color of the seal is gold, emphasizing the school’s goal to achieve excellence in academic pursuits and other endeavors and to refine each person in their passionate search for TRUTH.
